Happy Principals Month!

“How do you inspire and encourage your students to live out the Mesquite Promise in their daily lives?”

Principal Jonathan Royle: For me, the Mesquite Promise is more than a set of word, it’s the foundation of how I want our students to grow, both in and out of school. I try to model it every day in the way I speak to and treat others, and I make sure to notice when students live it out themselves. Whether it’s celebrating a small act of kindness, encouraging a student who is working through a challenge, or reminding them that responsibility and integrity matter even when no one is watching, I want them to feel proud of who they are becoming. My hope is that they see the Promise as something real and personal, a guide they can carry with them throughout their lives.
